Just may do that! Thanks! I'll let you know by next week. I just can't figure how on earth we're supposed to be there all ready to go by 3 without hauling all night or being there the day before. If I did a night haul, I'd be wanting to sleep rather than get my horse ready! I emailed Kali today and asked if there was a freestyle during the horse course portion. There was last year...we had 90 seconds. There was no "Best Obstacle", or whatever she called it, though...I'm confused about that. Do you understand what it is? Also asked how much time we have for the finals freestyle should we get it. Last year we were told 5 minutes but they changed it to 4 about a month before the competition. Watching a number of you tube videos, it looks like most of them were 4 minutes last year. Are you going through your music collection should you make it?

Tracey, I haven't picked out my music yet, because we are not planning on making it into the final ten. There is just so many good full time trainers out there, and I haven't really had the time to put into her.
Well it looks like I have to do the Cowboy race now. Once they except your application then there is no refund of your money and they have already cashed my check. So I will ride Dino in the ECR and breed demo. Seeing how there is nothing in the rules about not doing both, I will fight them on it. This rule really messed it up for the EMM horses, because they can not get more exposure, and that would only help them to sell for more money.

Kevin, you should pick out some music just the same. You never know what will happen there...and even if there are trainers who are doing it full time, their horse may absolutely blow it. Plus, Princess is coming along nicely. All she has to do is listen to you in the trail class, and we've got a month to get that together. She works much more quietly than Steve Holt! does and I'm still working towards making that cut ;D You're right about there being nothing in the rules about not doing both. I almost applied for the ECR with Steve Holt! (before I ever got on him, how crazy is that?), so what would they have done if I'd made it in???

I took Dino and Princess to the beach today, by myself. This is Dino practicing for the extreme cowboy race! ;D He looks tired enough for you to think he was pulling that log doesn't he? And Princess on the trail by herself! She was so awesome. Just imagine me holding the camera while we are cantering along.

ummm, not tired more grumpy as in "Dad! I can't believe you are going to make me try to pull this thing, you try pulling it!" Fun video, boy Princess has some busy ears, usually one on you though so that's great. So is Dino jealous yet?

Those were great photos taken at the beach and with Princess cantering along the sandy trail! She does indeed look like a princess standing tied so quietly. You have done a remarkable job with her. Kudos to you. Shirley

Dino has the look like "is there any part of me that says draft horse?" just by looking at the size of that log...LOL ;D Princess is a very pretty girl I think she is just so lovely. Kevin has done so great with her.

Kevin and Dino are hard at work practicing for the extreme cowboy race. Here he is working on loading in the trailer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXSmsy3HfhUDino thought this was so much fun! He was disappointed when Kevin shut the horse trailer door! Lisa

THAT WAS AWESOME.......I can hear the "TA DA" at the end...When Kevin swung down from the trailer and turned around I was thinking nothing would be better than a "TA DA" and sure enough he didn't disappoint! VBG....You guys are awesome! Good Luck to Kevin, Dino, and Princess, and Tracey, and Steve Holt! It's almost time.....Make sure someone gets on here and posts results! We will be waiting!!!!

Kevin I wish you all the luck in your adventure, BUT the stunt with the trailer was foolish and to put a video of it on here for all the less experienced kids to think it's cool and try it out is not in the best interest of anyone. George
