I am going to be in the Larry Whitesell clinic this summer. Ive heard great things about him, so wanted to get you all's thoughts about him. Even though he is a gaited horseman, the trainer's I spoke with said they learnt so much from him and there horses weren't gaited. The trainers thought they had to have gaited horse's to be in the clinic and once Larry got there, he explained to them they didn't and it was all basically the same concept with gaited as with any other horse. Here's his website www.whitesellgaitedhorsemanship.com/

Angel...we know Larry Whitesell from the Paso World. My husband says he is a good trainer and has some good stuff to offer. The only personal experience I have with him is beating him in the show ring years ago....

We have tons of gaited horses around here, I would love to be able to book him for a clinic during the all breed horse challenge!!!!!!

Cool Michelle! Im excited about doing his clinic. The trainer that is holding the clinic had him there last year also and she's been around horses her whole life, has trained and showed all of her own horses (both western pleasure and hunter/jumper) and she said she really enjoys how he breaks the training down, a little easier for people to understand. She said she learnt a lot from him.
Kelly, it looks like he's mainly in the south, but you never know, wouldnt hurt to ask about getting him up there.

I guess the worst that could happen is that he says no.... Maybe I will try.
