Andi, can you tell us how the Kigers in the sick pen are doing? The black stallion with the bad cut on his fetlock, is he any better? And the red dun that was so stiff in the hind end?

Hmmm ... the stallion with the injury -- was it on a left rear leg at the fetlock? I can't remember the color of the one I saw last week but there was one whose injury is really bad, and there is nothing they can do for him. If it's that horse, he has been put down. sorry to say. Last I heard the skinny mare is doing well and the injured mare is doing well also. And, of course, the hernia baby is at our place and doing fine.

Ohh, that's too bad. He was a really nice looking horse. It looked like he must have kicked something. He was one of the horses that Kevin and Lisa took pictures of this last fall on the Kiger HMA. How sad.
