If it's the same one I remember, I was there when she turned him back. It was at the break right before the second round and I got the feeling that either another horse she really wanted was not picked in the first round and she switched OR she got another one cheaper in the second round (that is my guess). It was not like he was a bad choice or anything. Maybe someone has picts of him from the corrals...
Nice to have you on board!

8207 was turned back after the adoption was over, he has a hernia that wasn't mentioned but was on the health statement. He's a nice looking colt.

Thanks Michelle and Dianne. Now I guess I just need to keep trying to get in touch with Ramona at BLM and find out how bad it is. If it's one that requires surgery or if it will heal on it's own. He really is a cutie. I'd love to see any more pics of him or of 8208 if anyone has any from the in person adoption. Amanda

Amanda Amanda: I'd call Ramona and ask.....Maybe Andi will be back on here(she had surgery) and can tell you what the deal is....I'll email someone else there I know that's local and ask him what he thinks too....Glad you made it over here from our other list.... Thanks Angela, I've called Ramona 3 or 4 times since I found out he was available, and she's never there! And so far she hasn't called me back. Guess I'll try again on Monday. I'm still trying not to get my hopes up too much... but so far it seems like fate is calling my name. Amanda

I'm almost positive that the first picture under the random pics posted by fantasykiger has the boy I like in it... I think that's him to the far right. Anyone else able to blow the pic up enough to see the neck tag #?

All I can say from doing a zoom on the picture with the best of my photo program ability, is the last number is indeed a 7 on that horses tag. So it very well could be your boy #8207 you are looking at for the internet adoption.

I think the very first photo is of pen 29, with the one and two year old fillies. The pen that had 8207 in it did not have any grullas (sorry Amanda ) That little bay filly was passed over on round one but adopted on round 2. The picture of the older mare in the lead in the "older mares" pen may be the older one that my friend in Wyoming adopted. She is doing wonderfully, still pregnant, and is calmer than the 2 year old. She already is eating hay out of my friend's hand. The horses arrived in the wee hours of the morning and they settled in almost immediately. So much for rumors that these Kigers are suicide-prone. I have not met an unreasonable one yet, unless it has been abused. I have a few pictures if someone can tell me how to post them. When I click on "insert image" it just gives me the code, regardless of whether I have an image selected on my computer or not. Diane in Oregon

Diane, I haven't figured out the whole pic thing.. it just gives me a code too. But I posted my pics in photobucket and pasted the direct link code and that worked for me.

If you have your pictures in photobucket first then all you need to do is copy and paste the ' code' directly onto your post the code will show up as a picture when you hit submit. You use the 'direct link' to get your picture on as an avatar.

Yes, that's the pic I was talking about! I'm almost positive that's him. When I enlarge the pic, the last # on the tag is definately a 7, and his white foot matches the pic I have of him that I'm attaching. What does everyone else think?

I see 207 as the last 3 numbers. Wishing you luck with him! Linda
