Argo is the 17 year old grey stallion that they did closed bids on. His blog is amazing! Check it out at argosjourney.blogspot.com/

Left in holding so long? He came in Oct, no one took him on Nov, so he went out on silent bid before the internet adoption. He wasn't there long at all.
Kelly, I don't think she'd be upset by your question. She just got pounded and some folks got a little pushy, questioning her reasoning. I'd be torn...because I love searching out my own family history, but that's her choice and I'm glad she's sticking to her guns.

I'm trying to bring up the blog and it keeps hanging up. I've tried it about four times now. Is anyone else having troubles with it?

I can understand some can be rather pushy but personally, if he were mine, I would love to know what siblings/foals he had out there. Would be a great way to keep up with the history and bloodlines of the kiger.

Kigerfan:
I just tried to log onto the Argo blog and had no difficulties. If you are on dial up, that might be the problem as there is a lot to load and it could be causing you to be booted off.

DHW:
I can appreciate how she feels. It is her decision and it doesn't matter why she made that decision. She should not have to answer to others, it's her horse, her decision and her right to make it!!!! Dara, stick to your guns. Just having Argo is a gift, enjoy him for the time that the Lord has blessed you with him.

You are in for a treat. Argo's blog is beautifully done, sensitive, and lets you in on Kara's experiences with Argo. It has brought tears to my eyes many times. I so look forward to visiting there! What an amazing experience we get to glimpse at vicariously! Linda D

Kara is on a Yahoo list with me and Argo is simply a fun blog to read!

Is she back to updating it, Andi? Last I was there it's been several months. I'd emailed her and she said she was busy but planned to get back to it...but I didn't see anything new for quite a while.
Steve Reppert has a gray Kiger that he's certain Argo is the sire of. Started out a silver dun. Saw him yesterday and he's nearly white (at least with his winter coat.)

I'll have to ask her. I saw her post this morning to the Yahoo group I'm on but I haven't been to Argo's blog for awhile. With my dial up connection at work, it's too slow to attempt it so I will try tonight.

The only blog I know of on Argo has not been updated since feb 09 I think. I would love to hear how he's doing. What a treasure indeed.

What a journey she has had with him. Seems to have a lot of sense and is able to read him well.
