Posting graphics

I have read the "help" section but still don't understand a few things.

I added a personal activar which did showed up once, then in it's place there was a graphic that said something about not linking to outside websites. The same thing happened when I inserted images from our website. Why can a person link to some photo storing, sharing websites and not a personal website? (Probably a security issue???) Then there's a message about "non paying members" not being able to post graphics but nowhere can I find anything about "buying" membership, only about buying "credits" for the board. Is anyone currently "buying" credits for this board? If a person buys "credits" can they then post graphics? Or can a person only post graphics from a select group of photo sharing websites, and if so which ones as I have noticed several being used here.

I don't have an issue with buying some credits but I would like to be able to post some photos without having to sign up with a photo sharing website in order to do it. Trying to keep our personal website up to date is difficult enough without keeping up a photo sharing website to boot.

Can anyone answer our questions?

The easiest way that I have found to post pictures and graphics is to open a photobucket account (which is free) and use that to store your pictures on the web. It is very user friendly with this board and will allow you to post everything from pictures and graphics to videos and slide shows. The avatar has to be a certian size and you will need the direct link located under the picture you desire to use from photobucket for the avatar, not the img link.
