Kiger Tesoro de mi Corazon (not Del). He's a 2006 stallion from the Kiger HMA. So far he's only had one colt, and that one was an accident. But that colt came out with amazing color and dun factor, out of a bay TB mare. I'm hoping to get him to a trainer to finish him this fall, and start his show career. Right now he's my trail mount. If his training goes as planned and his show career takes off, he'll be available to breed to outside mares. I'm located in Western North Carolina.

I knew I was forgetting a couple and stormyranch filled them in. SWS Durango is in Sweden and Thunder has a stud prospect in Nevada, so he may turn up. Stone Dust and El Morzillo are also over in Sweden. CK Totally Tucker is in Germany.

Yea great list..! there are more stallions out there than most people know of..! I know Billy Walls in South GA had a stallion from the last adoption, a good looking stallion, nice dun factor.

There is also Kiger Rex, Delano, and, Neo at Flying D Kigers in California. Diego Del Las Vegas in SW Washington is a nice grullo boy. As far as the list, My Kiger Kodiak and Kiger Kodiak are the same horse, and his full name is HS My Kiger Kodiak. Wallowa Kiger (listed simply as Wallowa ) is deceased, and I think Misterio De Oro is gelded, or soon will be. Did you get that list info off the old US Kigers database?

Super, I know its easier when you have a breeding and can use the stud fee to offset the training. Anyone else?

I'm breeding two, maybe three mares to this stallion this year: jazranch.com/index_files/page10.htmI've trained a number of his babies back in the day and they were all wonderful.

What Hawk babies did you train, Michelle? Where did you train them? I was not aware that any of his foals had left Carpe Diem Farms, until recently. He's a pretty nicely conformed stallion, although he is small, and he is very very excitable. If he had not acted so hyperactive, I would have bid on him and ended up with him here. I did not think he would handle having other stallions around, given his behavior at the fairgrounds, near Maquiavello, even with one mare a distance away.

I wish he had been listed on the sales sheet because I would have bought him without hesitation. Yes, he is a pistol to have around and they had to put hotwire 7 feet up to keep him contained. He never stopped moving - he has such heart. He also has issues with breeding as they just let him rape the mares and he was brutal. Eric tried to work with him once on it and Brydie had a fit and just wanted to put the mare up against a sturdy half wall and let him do his thing. He came into the arena with Eric on one side and another fellow holding him on the other and Hawk reared up with his business end ready to go and walked 100 feet on his hind legs like that and hit that mare like a train. I doubt much has changed with that...so probably a good thing you did not want to deal with him. Not really the horses fault; she always had a new "trainer" with their own basket of equipment and methods and they all wanted to get their hands on Hawk - he'd been through a lot and my guess is he was just fed up with life in general. He did super well up in Canada - they loved him, taught him to jump and showed him with no issues around other horses. I think they understood him and handled him well.
We dealt with Carpe Diem way back in the late 90's. I surely can't remember all the horses names we worked with for Brydie and Mike, but the Hawk babies stood out. I had also bought one for Eric that he later sold and regretted it.

Hawk is very gorgeous! I am glad somebody got him who will stand him to the public. I wish a lot more quality lusitano studs like him were in the U.S. By the way what is his percentage of Veiga?
