I am on cloud nine today, I went out and spent 3 hours this morning with the horse's. and for the first time with out yummies or me following her around and forcing her to stop, Flashy came to me, she sought me out, let me rub her face, neck between her ears, and dropped her head for more between her ears, I am so excited...We bonded...I have had her now going on two years, I wanted to cry, and writing this I get choked up, it has taken her a long time to trust me this much...So tomorrow we will see, and I will not push the issue, I will let her make the moves... nola

thank you, I went out this evening for their feed time and before we fed we turned them out for a good run and role, she stood there for me, did not put her butt to me, followed me to the paddock, held still while I took off the lead rope, then wham she was off and farting, but it was wonderful to be able to catch her and not chase her...I am going to build on that, and see where it takes her and me, plus sh would rather be out with just Stormy... but we turned all 4 of them out together, and Nova kept her away form our gelding, so shooter was off by himself, and nova was herding Flashy and Stormy around...

How wonderful you must feel. It won't be long now before she is butter in your hands. There's nothing like it! Leesa.

Nola:
I think that you have earned Flashy's love...She realizes you are NOTHING like her previous owners...Great job!

also when Jim mounts her she no longer tries to walk away, now she stands still and lets him mount.. Today November 14th, she put her face next to mine as I was rubbing her neck..and closed her eyes, Doreen was walking by and stopped and said that is a major break through on Flashy's part..I was so excited...I felt though Stormy was a bit put off by that, cause Flashy got lovens first..I do not know if they get that way ,but she sure looked like it, and so i spent extra time with her, and brought her in first from the paddock, and she got her yummies first. or so she thought, I just went down the line and put them in their feed tubs...Do any of you know what the Indians first called horse's?
