Looking for a sheepskin cinch. Would be willing to trade artwork, yarn, or felted ponies...

DHW:
When I worked at the ranch, we had sheepskin cinches on all the saddles. It was great when they were clean, but we found that the burrs, mud and grit from the trail really embedded deep in the fibers. We were constantly cleaning them which turned out to put a lot of wear and tare on them and they quickly started looking real shabby.
If you are just going to use it for those "special times" (ie: shows, special trail rides etc) then I would highly recommend them as they are very soft on the horses belly but if it is an everyday cinch cover your looking for, I would highly recommend a synthetic one. They clean up easier and wear a lot better.

Bleh...synthetic... Nope, after the real deal. Actually may make my own cover once the lambs head to freezer camp if I can't find one.

I was wondering why you couldn't use one of the kool-aid dyed beauties at your house....hehehe...
