Angel and Alyssa, Thanks for your nice comments. We have high hopes for our "cracker jack" boy.
Dianne, Did you send the email to me on 10/18 also? If so I have not received it. Would you mind sending it again? Was Meadow from your farm?

How are Cisco's endurance rides going? Get to have any more of them? It sure would be interesting to know who his family are. I would bet money on a couple I suspect.

He hasn't been on another one yet. We had a conflict with the second ride the group was putting on and they don't have another one planned until after the holidays.
We had planned to take him and my mare out to a gorgeous new park down here called Colt Creek this Saturday but our truck needs some work; new glow plugs, water pump and there is apparently a hole in the radiator. Good thing my husband knows how to fix these things. I can't begin to total the money we have saved over the years with him doing all the repairs to our vehicles.
Anyway, I did finally convince him to take lessons on Cisco with my trainer. Cisco is loving every minute of it. He sees it as his job and he is so smart he needs the structure. He is not a horse to just get on and amble/ride around. He needs a purpose and direction. My trainer, who is really a joy to work with, told me during my lesson this past Sunday that she is more impressed with Cisco after each lesson; four of them now. He is earning her respect. She is one who has "been there done that" with horses all her life including riding her clients horses and very often stallions. She is impressed that he is such a good boy considering how young he is and that he's a stallion. He behaves and is starting to stop on a dime and stand there; no fidgeting. We train at the east end of our back pasture which is only about 2 acres. This past lesson all three mares, the two fillies and a gelding were down at the west east eating hay out of hay ring while Steve was taking his lesson on Cisco. Needless to say our trainer was quit impressed that he behaved like a perfect gentleman the whole time.
If we do make it to the trail this weekend (gotta get the truck working first) I'll try and get new photos to post. Leesa
