Does anyone here drive their horse? Did they do their own training and how did their horses take to the training? What do you look for in a driving horse?
I have a friend who has a Standardbred gelding that is her driving horse he is so easy she is considering giving lesson to people with him, on how to drive. So when she is ready and prepared, I am jumping at the chance as she is just down the street and I'm going to take lessons to learn to drive. If it is as wonderful as she says and addicting.
I may want to take some of my horses in that direction as well. There are several people/kids that drive horses in our neighborhood. As well as access to several BLM roads, so lots of places to ride and drive here.
