how about a full side shot of him, the angels on the photos do make hih head look big. My mare kind of has a big head too, some people think she is a tenn. walker because of its length. It is funny how you never notice something like that till someone points it out.

I have 2 Kiger Mustangs with big heads you don't realize it until you go to fit a throat latch of a bridle or a regular horse halter on them and they do not fit quite right. We just got lucky in that their bodies match up pretty good and are big as well. So it all evens out in the end Nothing wrong with a big beautiful head, a tiny head on a big body can look pretty silly.

LOVE the big heads on them! Reminicant of those Iberian ancestors.....never understood the breeders that go for the small, baby doll heads!

His head reminds me of my mare, Etta's. Her head is large but fits well with her body and is Iberian looking. It's kinda noble I think.

If you look at pictures of Mestano, he has a large head and a very narrow body.

Don't know if this is still a topic of conversation but I am posting a photo of our Dulcinea and her long face. Personally I like the look (as long as it is in proportion with the rest of the horses body as mentioned early) and I feel it is one of the Iberian characteristics the Kiger has been able to retain after all these centuries. Beautiful Long Faced Dulcinea

I think most Mustangs have big heads. There is a Mustang/QH cross at this new barn I am riding at and he has a huge head. Just like a draft. Sure is cute though!
