hello everyone, since I last was on and had that fall with stormy it cracked my lower back/right hip... and it took me this long to find out i just thought it was my arthritis... Stormy is doing wonderful slimming down... reining so much better ... is becoming the horse i want her to be , and I was trying to become the rider I needed to be and she needed me to be ... so in a few weeks I will be rechecked, and hopefully given the green light to ride again... Makes sense to me now why i had so much trouble in the saddle which then she picked up on...which then led to other problems... Will keep you all posted on my progress and mostly on hers. Nola

Good to have you back I hope you heal well and quickly. I am glad to hear that your Stormy is coming along well as the horse you always wanted her to be. How is the rest of the herd pretty Flashy, Jim's Mustang mare and the boys ?

Nova is such a crack up she goes and goes in the arena, but once he takes her out she will stop, at the same spot every time, then decide ok I've seen it and go, the a few feet stop again. then go and keep going then do it again coming back,I swear her eyes light up when she does this to Jim, and she is his BLM..Flashy is finally slimming down, Jim works with her in the spooking category, she tend to spook easy, she does not fly, but she gets real happy feet, and we are hoping to elemanate that issue, but she is a good ride up to that point... Shooter we have decided just to keep him a pasture buddy, I think he was so abused that even though he loves us lets us do what ever needs to be done, he still flashes back when in the saddle, and bridle, he changes... We will still work with him, but not to ride just to see if we can help him...Riddle is wonderful...

live sure would be boring with just Jim and I...I love my animals... I also have 6 puppies to get ride of and I am getting attached they are 3/4 Brussels Griffon and 1/4 mutt dog... It is good to be back and read all the posts... Went out today and groomed Stormy while Jim let the others out to run and romp, well she really wanted to be in the fun so I turned her out, she ran and rolled and just had fun, then came back in and she thought ok now I can go to my pen , nope she looked at me like" hey it's that way" I tied her up and finished my grooming... then she got put away...It was so good to be out there with them...

Hey, good to hear from you. Take really good care of that hip and do all the exercises they give you. Don't want to be held up and off a horse.
