8 year old dun mare, Kiger Dulcinea, adopted as a three year old in 2003. This is a wonderful mare, but at 14 hands, too short for my tall daughters. She is a great brood mare, super easy to have around as far as fences, gets along with everyone, good for farrier, etc. I leave her ground tied and walk around the back to give her her shots! She has had three foals for me, and I have been very happy with each of them. She is broke to ride, and good on the trails, but I would still call her green broke, as she has been ridden off and on for the past couple years, never steadily. She is good on trails, and has done some arena work, but is not really "flashy" enough for show. My daughter has shown her in some 4-H shows as a green horse and done well. The perfect scenario for me would be to trade her for a horse taller than 15 hands, (mare or gelding), kiger or other mustang, at least started under saddle, with a potential for jumping. Freezemarked would be a bonus. There; I'm not asking for the moon, am I? we are praying for the perfect solution :-) Currently I am asking $3000, obo. Congratulations to Tammy Knight of Monroe, WA on the purchase of her FIRST KIGER ! Dulcie is going to a great home, I am so happy for both Dulcie and Tammy. Tammy also owns fancy sheep (forgive me, all you sheep owners, for not knowing the breed!) Tammy, I hope you'll join the group here, and keep us updated, Lil

Yay! Congratulations Lil and Tammy and a very big Welcome to Tammy! I know her through being "blog pals" and she raises Shetland sheep though used to have (still has a few) Jacob sheep, same as me. Tammy has been a reader of my blog for a while to keep an eye on my Kigers, glad she's finally getting her own! ;D
