So Tesoro got all dressed up for our photo shoot yesterday. He stood there like an old pro while I put a saddle pad, saddle, then girth on him. Then he took his first bridle with no hassles! I am so proud of my boy! Not a single spook or buck. He wasn't so fond of having a bit in his mouth, but they all start that way. Don't you think he's filled out nicely? Enjoy the pics!

Is he just a yearling? He looks older in some shots. He looks really good and is responding to your training in such a great way.

He's a 2 year old. At the Nov adoption he was listed as a yearling, on the internet in Jan he was listed as a 2 year old. I'm guessing he turned 2 this summer. He's still got his little baby teeth though, lol. Such a cutie!

He does look about two. Have you had his teeth checked for wolf teeth or sharp ones? May be besides being just introduced to the bit he fussed a little because of teeth problems? Just a thought. He looks good.
