well broke family horse wanted

I am looking for a horse for my whole family to ride. I dont really care what breed but of course prefer a mustang. I am needing a confidence building horse that wont take advantage if someone is not to sure. I am an good but still green rider but have been shaken by a green horse who bolted on me and now need one i know i can trust. I would like one that can still go for when i am ready for it. Also one that if i dont ride for weeks or a few months will be ok to just get on and go for a trail ride. I do mostly trail riding, but will like do do more when i get more confident. I dont have alot to spent on a horse but will provide a good forever home. We get hay from our own property so hay prices havent efected us. If you know of someone who has a good horse needing a good home please let me know. Thanks Dara

Where are you located? My Salem might be a good match for you. He's a 10 year old grey gelding from Little Owyhee HMA. I sold him, but I have him back now. It's a long story, lol. He's a great trail horse, and pretty beginner safe.
