Just wanted to give everyone an update on Maverick - I talked with the lady who bought him and he's doing great. He's gaining muscle, she works him 4-5 times a week. She is very pleased with his progress so far, still has a way to go though. He has bonded with the pony in the gelding pasture she said......hopefully will have some pics soon.

I noticed another thread about kiger ponies and jumping - Maverick really tucked his feet naturally - he would have made a good hunter/jumper.

I'm glad to hear that Mav is getting on good with his new lady....I hope to get to see pics of him sometime; will she send you any? He's a nice horse and it's always so great when a hard situation (selling a horse that just would be better in a different venue with someone else) really works well. Sounds like you guys are in a win-win situation; Mav with his new lady and you with your new mare!

Thanks Angela. Yes I feel so fortunate that he found such a great home. We just weren't a good fit for one another. He is a wonderful boy - I knew he could do so much more than just trail riding. He was so smart and athletic. He will excel at dressage in leaps and bounds - Im sure of it.

Yes I hope to get pic's sometime soon.
