Iron Gate State Park, with the John Wayne Trail, spans a good section of WA state. We're in the planning stages of a ride here in Sept. Rather loose at the moment, but hoping to put the pieces together to make this an annual ride. Benefits our new WA State Wild Horse and Burro Club. If anyone is interested, please let me know! This will likely be a 3 day, two night ride. Wild Horse Monument seattlepi.nwsource.com/getaways/101499/iron14.html

We've got it tentatively scheduled for Sept 9-11. I emailed the parks dept yesterday but haven't heard back, so will call on Monday to find out more about the trail. I think we may begin in Easton, which will give us a 70 mile ride.

Oops. Then I guess you'll have to count me out. I work weekdays, it would have to be a weekend ride for me to be able to participate.
