Yes Joan I do. She is wonderful. Everything that I was looking for. We just got back from camping all weekend where we road Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6 hours or more everyday. She hung right in there with everyone and was a champ.

Interesting...Saphiro is a cremello (two cream genes) and not grey. So this is a very light dunskin. Now THAT is what should be called buttermilk dun. Do you know how tall she is? Congratulations on getting Lakota Sioux, the horse fairy has smiled on you.

Dianne - yes the horse fairy indeed did visit me and it was a pleasant visit. Im so happy. The mare is 14.3, close to 15, but she's only 3 right now and she's been doing light riding on her. Not going to start her training until next year. She is very pretty. She would be a classic buttermilk dunskin. I call my mare Lakota - here's a few pics from this past weekend My boyfriend playing with a bullheeer - 1/2 english bulldog and 1/2 blue heeler

Angel, your horse is beautiful! How old it the Kiger/Luso Cross? Is it a mare? She is very beautiflu too. I was wondering how old Lakota was when she had her foal? Also, who is Lakota out of? Lisa

Thanks Lisa! Im very happy with her.
The mare is 3 years old so Lakota was 10 when she had her. Lakota's sire is Steens kiger and dam is dakota. THe lady I bought her from was there when she was born and loves her dearly, although she had to sell her due to health reasons. I send her updates weekly on her.

The other cool thing is that she's full sister to Dianne's Cedar. There's some great bloodlines working between SK and Dakota.

Yes Joan, I thought that was really neat that my filly is Lakota's niece. Im hoping she has the same temperment as Lakota does, from what Dianne says, she's already a sweetie and loves butt scratches Lakota will hang out with you the whole time your around the barn. She just LOVES attention. I do like the SK and Dakota bloodlines so far from what Ive seen from Lakota. It's funny how that worked out, I sure didn't plan it that way though. It just all happened. The dreamhorse ad of Lakota - the baby in that pic is the mare shown above - when she was first born.
