This weekend we participated in an event called Celebrate the Horse at the Western Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup Washinton. This event was held to benefit People Helping Horses which is a non profit equine rescue group. The turnout for the entire weekend was pretty good. Lots of different breed demos, clinicians, and vendors. Kigers were represented by my two, Savannah and Kody on Saturday along with my friend Lil's mare Dulcie who was adopted in 2003. Sunday, Dulcie was unable to attend so Ki filled in for her. Both days we had one dun, one grullo, and one red dun, as well as one english, one western and one driving horse. The demo's both went very well and the Kigers were very well recieved. They sparked a lot of interest and attention!
I have a few photo's if anyone cares to post them for me..... Kim

Darn Kim, if you had mentioned that a little earlier, I may have come up to see you. Puyallup isn't that far from Oly.

Thanks Lisa, for posting the pics!! the first two are me driving Savannah, both in the arena and then just around the fairgrounds. The second pic is of Grace riding her 8 year old mare from the 2003 adoption "Dulcie". Dulcie is Grace's 4H horse this year. The last one is Kody just leaving the arena after our performance. We all had a lot of fun. Kim

Kim, Your horses look very nice. Savannah is so beautiful in harness. You and your horses display a nice "polished" show ring appearance. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to me! Melissa

Thanks for sharing Kim. They are all 3 beautiful. How much training goes into driving? Ive never really seen anyone training for that. That may be where I end up later in life once Im too old to ride I still have many years left, hopefully

You all look great Kim! Congrats, and Savannah is as elegant as ever. I always have admired pics of her in harness.
