All three of Cheryl's Kigers sold at Kigerfest! They were some of the nicest looking fillies there. It was a joy to see them in person.

Thanks for the compliments from everyone. It was exciting to be able to place them all in good homes. The baby especially attracted a lot of attention. Many young horse lovers were there who wanted to pet the baby, and I happily brought the mare and foal out for them to touch and hug.

Rowland Cheney bought the two younger ones, Bunny and Pixie, and Terry and Josanna Simmons bought the mare, Spirit.

Josanna bought my older stallion, Kiger Compadre, from me a couple of years ago. Compadre had come in from the wild(the Kiger HMA) at the age of 7. His story is similar to Argus' story. He is a remarkable animal who left a strong impression on me while gentling him with the help of Steve Reppert. Josanna has a trainer named Lois that has worked nothing less than MIRACLES with Compadre. After being told by other "cowboy" trainers that noone would ever ride Compadre, she got on him and rode him at Kigerfest as if he had always been a domestic horse.

Rowland Cheney owns the only offspring of Kiger Cougar, the Kiger that was trained by Bobby Ingersoll and lived at the Kentucky Horse Park. Rowland's stallion's name is Warrior.

So, Spirit and the two younger ones, Bunny and Pixie, are going to wonderful homes with great trainers and excellent stallions. I could not have asked for more.

Rowland Cheney owns "an offspring" of Kiger Cougar. I own Cougar's last offspring, who is a dun yearling colt named Santana Sage Cougar.

Thanks for correcting me, Melissa. So, does that mean that Kiger Cougar has two offspring? Or are there more somewhere else?

Kiger Cougar has two Kiger offspring. A reliable source informed me that Cougar was bred to other non Kiger mares. Not sure how many though.
