Hi All! I am a new Kiger mustang owner on this board. I purchased Blackstone's Lady Shiloh aka Shiloh from Ron Maag in Ohio last August. She is a grulla, currently 15 hands, with just a very few white hairs on her forehead (these are new this year!). She is my first mustang. Today is her fourth birthday, so I guess she is officially a mare now. She was really green when I bought her, so I sent her to a natural horse trainer this spring and she came home ready to go in mid-May. I love her! She has comfortable springy gaits and is good on the trails, though since we don't have pasture she tends to want to snatch leaves occasionally. She rides well with other horses, but is definitely the alpha in the paddock. I live in Vermont and am currently a sixth grade teacher, though I will be teaching second grade next year. YAY! My husband and I (both 50) have eight horses, with two for sale, and enjoy trail riding and definitely want to go camping with our horses this summer. We are checking out EBay for camper slide-ins, no tents for him...LOL! Here is a link to Shiloh's Grovestreet photo album: www.grovestreet.com/jsp/picview.jsp?album=86368Shirley and Shiloh

Welcome to the board. Shiloh is a very pretty mare and it looks as though the two of you are doing well together. Blackstone sired some nice horses. Karen's Mystic is a prime example. Linda D
