Hello all: I sold a Kiger gelding to an acquaintance(who runs a boarding barn) as a yearling....She has since trained him to ride, trail ridden him, and crossed water with him, etc. I personally would consider him still green since she doesn't have tons of time for just him. He does not like to pick up his feet, but will....he loads decently, and ties well. Unfortunately due to a rash of bad things she needs to downsize her herd....Her former neighbor was poisoning horses, and being very antagonistic to the boarders...She has since moved but needs to rehome Jack because he "doesn't like her husband"...She is getting new pics of him (he's about 14.2 now but mom and dad are both over 15 hands) for me but here's a shot of him as a yearling... i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee162/hustonzoo/Jackyearling.jpgAnd as a baby with his mom, Sierra: i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee162/hustonzoo/JackandSierra9-04.jpgHis mom is Sierra, a wild caught BLM mare from the Riddle HMA. His sire is Cactus Jack Kiger who's sire is Steens Kiger and dam is Sorraia (See www.uskigers.com/C1.htm) A pic of him is here at pets.webshots.com/photo/1115159517052239816FfICRbHe is located just west of St. Louis, and I am assisting her (because she is beyond stressed trying to move her home and boarding facility) so please contact me for more info.... Feel free to email me for additional info....or contact numbers. Angela

Hi there:
Thanks for the huge interest in Jack...He has been placed! Luckily it is not too far from me so I hope to watch him become a full fledged useful riding mount!
