Thanks Dianne. ;D I love her to pieces... Even though she's a fire cracker! LOL (Actually I should say "especially" since she's a fire cracker.)

she is absolutely gorgeous. Is that grass she is in and is that what your horse's eat?

Thank you Nola! ;D I love her very much... She is MY treasure. I think that is a little bit of some weeds in that bottom picture. They normally just lay there as it gets some good sun in the morning but they are on pasture grass from about April through late October or early November. The pasture grass they're on consists of some rye and orchard.

ok, cause since the time I got stormy almost 3 years ago she has had what I call a hay belly. and with rick all she ate was grass. so I am trying to figure out what to do for her and her belly.

Was it grass or alfalfa? Do you use a scale to measure the flakes you give her?

Kiger Caballo (now gelded and not Tom Moore's stallion) ___________________________________________________
Dianne:
Who owns Kiger Caballo now?

it was grass Diane C, she is on hay with me, and each flake she gets is about 1 1/2 pounds, two times a day, but then my scale might not be accurate, it is what i use to weigh my food when i was on a diet...
