What an interesting marking on his face! And I love the way his FRONT two legs have white whereas his daddy's REAR two legs do. He's a real cutie Michelle. BTW.... I LOVE Sage! Kim

I agree Kim, isn't Sage something?! She's a beautiful lady and that colt is marvelous. I'm sooo enjoying everyone's foal pics as I miss my own. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see more pics as he grows. ;D

I agree, Kim and Joan. Out of all your horses, Michelle, if you want to keep doing Kiger crosses, I could not figure out why you wanted to sell Sage, unless there are views of her I have not seen that would answer that question. If I needed more horses, I would have considered making an offer on her.
Very cute colt, and JPs Lusitanos are always stunning, so I would bet you will have a great riding horse there.

We are leaning towards Bayo Halconero for a name. We have been long awaiting a colt from Hipo for our line-breeding program, though Hipo is very stingy on having colts. Leza is also bred to him and she looks as though she may be carrying a colt too - hopefully one will be breeding quality.
Yes, I have reasons I would rather sell Sage, and when Eric heard I may have an actual buyer for her, he got upset that I could sell a mare that kept out producing herself...so I jokingly reminded him that he wanted a mare to breed and why didn't he buy her - so he did! SOOOO, I guess my issues are not resolved - she is staying! Oh well.....but I still don't consider her proven until we get a few of her foals under saddle.
I panicked at first when he was being born, just seeing the two white feet - thought he was backwards!
