Santana has started his fourth month with Hilltop Farm and is doing very well. Gin calls him "very fancy". We are focusing on dressage for him and he is doing great in his transitions, collection and lateral work. He has a good working trot, canter and lovely big walk. He has elegance, suspension, and steady rhythm with a calm mind, and is soft and supple. Santana has the typical rock hard feet and legs of a Kiger and, unlike most Kigers, will finish at 17 hands (16.2 currently and growing). He loves trail as well, walks out and seems to enjoy the adventure. With his current level of training he is priced at $7,000. Ads will be appearing in GaitPost and Flying Changes in May. His sire, Chinook, has recently started in learning dressage at NSAE where Santana's dam, Cricket, has had 12 months of training. Craig and MaryAnne at NSAE call Cricket "brilliant". So we are expecting great things from Santana. I knew this dear boy had it in him. Photo credits Gin Reschke.

Dianne, Santana is absolutely gorgeous. It's so neat to see how well he is doing. I hope that you're able to find him a home where he'll excel in the dressage world. I also love how Gin did his mane... what a handsome dude!
