Oh, I was clapping and jumping up and down when the trailer arrived at midnight bringing Smoke and Cedar home. We let Smoke out first to do any running around and unloaded the hay and their gear. Poor Cedar was thinking we weren't going to let her out. So we put her out in the pasture and she and Smoke investigated the whole place. Then everyone was running and Cedar reclaimed her lead mare position. No pictures yet but soon. Its so good to have them home!

Dianne:
I can almost hear your sigh of relief back here! How's Gin doing with the adoption horses? Can't wait for more pics of Cedar and Smoke....Hope they're not too mad at you for sending them off to work!

Even the transporter said "what a sweet mare". Its interesting to me that she throws that wildly bicolored mane so consistently, although you can't see it in these pictures. Even her grandkids, Meadow and Blue have that almost white frosting. She's the best lead mare, takes no guff but isn't nasty either.

I am still waiting on that lottery win or for my luck to change.....I just love Cedar. Smoke is a handsome gentlman as well. His eyes just show what a sweet soul he is, I truely hope he finds a grand home a perfect partner in life.

Smoke is doing so well. Gin had a friend who raises Morgans big time tell her that Smoke couldn't possibly have Cushings. He certainly didn't have many of the symptoms. But he's made such a dramatic comeback that he stays on the med regardless. The other day I watched him do this huge gallop across the pasture. You could tell that he felt wonderful, and looked it to. Made my heart glad. He's such a handsome dude.

Dianne, Smoke and Cedar look so wonderful! Smoke looks in the pink of health and happy to be home. Lucky is anyone who gets one of your horses. They are all raised with such individual love and attention and care. Lovely! Always a joy to see them. Linda D
