Tesoro is making progress almost faster than I can post about it, lol. I can walk up to him and snap on a lead rope, lead him around his pen, and brush to about halfway down his barrel before he gets nervous and walks off. He loves the rubber curry comb, lol! I’ve had him 3 weeks tomorrow. This video was taken this past Thurs, on his 18th day home. He was a little wary of my camera person being in the ring with us, lol, and the flies were bothering him pretty bad. And OMG is he shedding, lol. But look! I’m so proud of him! www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK5UAyoD7L0

Wonderful! He's looking so much better and getting so good with you. I'm proud of both of you!

Like I said, lol, progressing faster than I can post! This is day 21, this afternoon. Sorry for the poor pic quality, it was with my camera phone instead of my digital camera This is what he thinks of the saddle pad Mom, I'm not totally sure this thing won't eat me! Well, I walked around and it didn't bite me, so I guess it's OK

Aha! you got his sides all brushed out sometime in there too! Remarkable, really shows the work you've been doing.

Yep, lol. I can brush his head, neck, chest, and sides almost to his flanks. His flanks, rear end, legs, and his belly are still kinda touchy though, but hey, it will come with time! Man o man is he shedding! I'm getting handfuls off. Can't wait to see that gorgeous dun coat when he's done shedding!

Well it appears as though Tesoro got just the right human. Great job, both of you! It is wonderful to see him bloom. It broke my heart to see the condition that he was in when you got him. That sure will be behind him soon! He apparently thrives on kindness and attention and a square meal. Kudos to you! Linda D

I cried when I saw him limping at the corrals. And can you believe I almost didn't bring him home? I hate to imagine what might have happened had he returned to the corrals in the condition he was in. I'm telling you, it was fate that I end up with him!
