Did you happen to check out the winners of the 2007 photo contest? if not you should. Oh my gosh some fabulous photos, really bring a smile to your face. I am also very pleased to see a Kiger Mustang on the cover of the magazine, very exciting as always to see our breed anywhere in print  |

Those photos are wonderful. I see what you mean about the kids and the horses and water. When I was a kid, one of our favorite things was "horseback swimming" in the creek. My best friend and I doubled up and rode her pony Chica into the creek, then Chica would sqat down on her hindquarters until my friend and I were up to our necks in water. At the word "jump" Chica would leap up out of the water. Usually, we'd both slip off in a mass of kids and horse. I guess we were lucky to have survived. Boy, it was fun.
