A friend took pictures the other day. Here are Taos and Blue Skies from last year. They love playing chase and seem to take turns chasing each other. Here is Taos with his new owner, Stefani. She sold her Arab gelding so she could buy Taos. Her mom is a good trainer so Stef is growing up with horses. I'm so tickled that she did this as I get to watch him grow up.

Am I seeing another Bravo in the making? Wow even with the blanket on! This photo should definately be used as a photo ad campaign for Rhino.... "I'm so glad that my girl choses Rhino Horseware to keep me warm, dry and cozy. And she knows just how to scratch!" That is one content colt! Look at that expression and body language! Talk about your Kodak moment! Another photo contest winner! Linda D

Yes, I wish it was focused a little more. Whatever I do in the pasture I have Taos' little nose asking for attention. He'll be at least 16 hands. Taos is Bravo's son out of LadyRose. Blue is out of Chinny and Lark. Winners both.

Was able to get blankets off for a bit yesterday between storms. Here is Blue again. Its so rare to get him in an un-muddy state. Two minutes later he had rolled and looked like Pigpen.

I'm wanting to keep Blue. I was so missing Meadow, his full sister, after she was sold. We'll see how it works out. Between storms we do have sun and some grass starting to grow. But there is fresh snow in the nearby hills and when the wind blows it still takes my breath away. All you guys out in Kansas, Wisconsin and Michigan are laughing at me I know.

SO SO pretty!! Yes i see that green grass now. It's been green here. We've got grass up past our knee's now and is so so thick that needs to be cut. The horse's are loving it, just not loving the flies now! They are awful this year. The one thing I love this time of year is the honeysuckle that is blooming everywhere, man I love that smell. It's so sweet and just brings back so many wonderful memories.!!!
