I left a tarp out in the pasture to get the horses used to it, especially because it was a breezy day and it would move a little. Taos thought it was great fun to flap it and upset the mares. I can just see them thinking "Hmph, BOYS!" Doesn't he look like a hooligan?

Hahaha, looks like a great shot for a Weatherbeeta ad. His Krammer manestyle only adds to the charm and mischievious look! This might be a good one for a photo contest! When I took a tarp out to work with Bolero, he grabbed it out of my hands, shook it, then stepped on it while pulling on it with his teeth to tear it. When I eventually got it back and spread it out on the ground for him to walk over he laid on it and rolled several times. So much for desentization. Linda D

LOL He does look like a hooligan! I love that hairstyle... Krammer just like LindaD said! ;D LOL
Cali is the same way, just loves to play with tarps and scare everyone else. It's a kick to leave one out in the pasture for everyone to make a big deal over.

My KC loves to play with tarps as well. During a Ken McNabb clinic last year the excersise was for the horse and rider to approach the tarp as closely as possible.... here is little KC the green youngster around all these "broke" older horses walks right up and picks it up and shakes it spooking everyone but herself!! Then she proceeded to paw at it until it was a big ball under her belly. She thought it was all quite fun!

Those are fabulous pictures, tarps are great fun. They most certainly do not last long here as well. As it is the second most entertaining thing for my young horses just biting, stepping on and tearing tarps. The first is playing with the mini' horse Cooper.
