We got a wee bit of snow, but nothing like that! I love that second shot there with the mane blowing. Super cool. My horses won't stand still for me to get that picture no matter how hard I try They keep turning around and fogging up my lens instead!

Oh that head shot of Fantasy is frozen mane, there was no wind blowing...LOL. It was miserable that day for sure. But today the sun is shining and with all the white fluffy snow I am itching to get out and get riding. I am only waiting on my daughter to get home and we will saddle up and head out to the BLM and blaze a fresh trail thru' the snow. That is after I layer up with enough clothes. While these snow days are fun and I love a fun trail ride on a sunny day in the snow ...I am all for warm weather if it all melted tomorrow and the tempratures started to rise and spring arrived early it surely would not break my heart to see the snow go

My eyes are turning green with envy, here! We've got ice beneath what little snow there is. Certainly not wanting to go anywhere in it; makes it hard to work horses when they can't stand up!

I thought I'd try to get pics of the wee bit of snow with Jet: Isn't it wonderful? That's her nose diving for the lens. I've got one who runs in fear, and then there's Jet who considers the world her playground.

LOL..it is funny I have to be quick with my camera and I make use of my zoom to get most my pictures. I am not even close to my horses when I get most my pictures, they don't even know I am taking photos. Once they figure it out I give up because they all think the camera is a treat.
I did manage to go out the next day on Monday and go for a short trailride in the snow with my daughter. The sun was shining and it was fun. It was nice and refreshing and the horses were just as excited to get out as well.
