As some of you might know I seem to have a side "business" of rescuing puppies. This weekend marked number 18 in three years. I know they aren't Kigers but I had a Catahoula mix female show up at my dairy about three weeks ago and we decided to keep her because she is an amazing dog. This morning the Vet confirmed that she is pregnant. I will need to find home for all the pups. She will have an x-ray on December 27 to count how many we are expecting (expected Due date is 1/1/13). They should be ready to go to new homes after Valentines Day. If you might be interested please send me a pm. First come first serve. Thank you

Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply to this. Catahoulas are amazing dogs. They are great for hunting and herding. They are super loyal and tend to be kid lovers. I have had Tanzie (mama dog) for 6 weeks and she is the sweetest and most loyal dog I have ever had. Tanzie has been in love with my 18 month old daughter from day one and my daughter has treated her like my other two dogs (which isn't always gentile). Tanzie wants follow me everywhere, kinda tricky when you need to go into town. Catahoulas can be property protective, and great family protectors as well. They are headers when herding and have no problem taking on a pig. Get a few of them and they will take the pig down for you. They are very, very smart dogs and are just as apt to train you as you are to train them. They are great all around dogs, in my opinion. Tanzie Barked at frodo for few days but stopped when i told her to stop and hasnt started back up. She knows she isnt allowed to bark at the large animals which keeps her out of trouble on the dairy. They have webbed feet for walking through the marshy land where they were created (Louisiana). I haven't tested her out yet but i am sure they are great swimmers. I tend to have broken dogs, none of my dogs play with toys just each other. They are usually a loud Merle color but can come in all sorts of colors. They bark and bay and probably howl (like a hound). They will tree anything that will run up into a tree (Coons, squirrels, cats, lol) They tend to be vocal when playing. I dont know if it is a breed thing or not but Tanzie would rather be by my side then to run off with the other dogs and play. She will go off a little bit but comes right back when she is about 20-30 feet away. I have 8+ puppies coming in the next few days. I will add pictures when they arrive.

I wish I could take one... I would have, but right before you posted about them my father decided to surprise me with a little rescue fluff ball, supposed to be a Heeler x Border Collie. One hyper puppy is all my sanity can take! I haven't seen the pictures, but I keep checking back to see if you've posted them.
