Dose anyone know when the next Kigerfest is going to be? I am just curious. I was really sick for the last one so i couldn't go and i was hoping there was going to be another one soon.

I thought I would share this with everyone. I emailed the KMA about Kigerfest and this is what I got in response. I also asked about a half kiger class.
"We do not know where or when. It will not be this year but 2013 probable in California. It will be our 25th anniversary so we hope to make it special. We will put you on the e-mail list to contact. I will have to check on the half kiger. If there are enough for a class or if not probable the open class."
Would there be anyone else interested in a Half Kiger Class???

An open class might be good. If there are only two or three horses in the class it doesn't mean much. They also have a time to show horses for sale out in the arena by themselves while the announcer reads what you've written.

that is my hope as well. The LA equestrian center would be an awesome venue... just saying, big beautiful and lots of room for people to bring in horses. Or even Anaheim, Anaheim hills saddle club or the Anaheim equestrian center the latter has a lot of room.

There is good potential for Ca, but my guess is it will be closer up north. The folks in Washington and Oregon are probably not going to want to spend the gas it would take to go down south. It will probably be a combination of expense, # of kigers that can come, who can help run it, and drawing the general public in.
Kigermesa, would you be able to ride both your kigers?

oh i figured it would be closer to the north if not in OR since there are not that many kiger owners that i know of in CA. lol I will do what i can to help but it depends on when it is since i will be having a c-section in April. But i would definitely love to bring at least Frodo if not Dollie to Kigerfest.
