I was wondering which registries were available for Kigers and still active?
Most of the forum's posts are a bit older so I wasn't sure which information still applied.

Anyone? I'm not trying to compare which are better or anything. I'm just curious which ones are still open.

Those are all the registries I've found, as well. I found reference to another, but didn't find anything more than that. I'm waffling over registering Dusk... KHAR she doesn't qualify for because the hair in her ears isn't lighter, KMA I'm dubious of, and on SMKR, I can't even find a page showing their requirements or a registration application form. Maybe I'm just overlooking it...
Edit - because my brain doesn't function well enough on exhaustion to actually put down what I replied to say. Which is that I'll be watching this thread to see if any others are out there that I haven't found yet!

KHAR she doesn't qualify for because the hair in her ears isn't lighter, "Zhiaral", Did Dusk have lighter hair in the ears as a foal? Many times the bays and blacks will have lightened ear hair as babies and then grow out of it. Check all your baby pics. Send in the baby pic that shows the ear hair with your adult pics. In KHAR, the lighter ear hair is 8 points. So, not a deal breaker on getting her registered. The top 10% get a star (*) and are "recommended" for breeding and the top 20% can be registered as breeding stock. So, she can squeek by with -20 points and thus barely qualify for breeding in KHAR. She has to have a lot wrong with her conformationally and breed-type wise to accumulate a 20 point deduction. Jillian McIntosh
