I learned that patience leads to understanding. I learned that trust is given much more freely when not demanded. I learned that love can open doors to even deeper understanding. I learned that horses are wonderful playmates. I learned that horses are always true to their feelings. I learned that horses are much more willing to learn our ways than we are to learn theirs. I learned to try to be more flexible and open minded. I'm a much better person for having her in my life and I still have a long ways to go to be the person my horse knows I can be.
