Romeo...Joy still does not let him venture too far. I let them out in the small pasture for the first time today and poor guy just circled her close in for a long time. When he finally ventured out - she chased him down, bit him and rounded him up. This is a tough one for me...I am trying hard to work with her but she is going to need to try a little too.

Tasas' colt has a name...Bayo Amante, which means "Lover". It suits him well. He is such a sweetie! He's another one that does not stand still too long - he and Vegas will be quite a pair!

Who will you be breeding Gringo to this year? And I think Gavin will make an awesome stallion also. I like how uphill he is:-) When will you be breeding and who's getting bred to whom. I'm already thinking of next year!!!

I've already covered Nesa with Gringo and Leza was in heat last week and making goo-goo eyes with Gringo but when I brought him in she was like "No way!". I think she was out of heat by then or maybe just a little too concerned with Vegas running around. I'll try again next heat. I am also taking ChaCha to Gringo this year...!!!

I bred Morgan back to Charro already and I have Vistosa back for a couple years of breeding, so she'll go to Charro also. I am planning on taking Joy back to him, as long as she settles down with this foal. Sycha will be bred to a Lusitano. Mari and Raz will be off. Tasa is for sale along with her full sister, Nova; so no babies from them.

Phew! Will be a busy busy year!

Gavin is a nice guy...will be fun to see him develop!
