Frodo had a bunch of firsts today. First time in a rope halter, first time with a headstall (sidepull hackamore), first time being lunged outside of the corral, first time being led through puddles. He did so well on everythign that I asked him to do and by the end of it we were both warm and starting to sweat. So I decided to walk him around and through some puddles from the nice big storm we had last night. I gave him pleanty of lead so he could check things out and figure out that the puddle wasnt going to eat him. He walked fine though the first one and sniffed and licked the water. When we got to the second one he again sniffed and licked the water but this time he turned quick to teh left then back to the right and then down he went. I didnt think he was actually going to do it. OOPS!!! My bad!! lol. Evidently a puddle on gravel is a great place to roll when it is 45-50 F outside. He got to stand in the sun until he dried and i could put his blanket on him.... Silly Baby
