He's cute, but to me he's not a great representation (physically) of the Kiger breed. What do others think?

I think he has potential. He needs some groceries and o shed out but I think he has it in him to be a good looking horse. I think that mare is going to have some nice movement. She may not be Dun but she is going to be a nice horse I think.

Michelle,
I had him and @ a dozen others picked from the catalog before I went to Burns as a nice potential gelding. I thought there were many like him. But 57 bids on the first day? And from AZ. I wondered if the man that took a dozen to Tucson was the one bidding on both the Kigers.

I wonder too Bill...I hope he does not plan on that being his new stallion.

Michelle,
I don't think he wants 1143 for his stallion. Remember, he also adopted 1245.
I have a son in Tucson and the next time I go visit, I hope to find the man that adopted all of those Kigers at Burns. He sure took the top ones. He outbid me on 6-8 fillies and took them all. Kevin Sink came up to me during the adoption because I was bidding so much on the 6-8 fillies I had selected and asked to to mark his catalog with all the ones I wanted, so he would know not to bid on them. But I had to laugh and remind him that I had not gotten a single one of them becuase the man from Tucson outbid all of us for the top ones.

Sorry to report, but the man from Arizona that paid all that money for that stallion lost him. He died, I think from a broken neck So he may be looking for a new stallion.

oh that is indeed sad...accidents happen. Didn't he adopt other young colts? I can't imagine putting all your eggs in one basket.

Tiffany, I am pretty sure he bought all fillies and just the one stallion. You would think he would be shopping for a nice demostic bred stallion with a lot to offer in conformation. Maybe he is, we don't know if it's him bidding and wanting that horse for a stallion. I need to stop speculating. Kevin's always getting after me about that

Patti said it isn't Mr. Arizona somewhere on the kiger FB page. I hope he is still moving forward with his plans, even if he doesn't have a stallion. It sounded like he wanted to get everyone rideable even before breeding. If that's true it's not like he needs someone this spring. I kind of wonder if he only wants kigers from the wild to promote mustangs and kigers at the same time. It will be a lot harder to find a kiger stallion from the wild that is a good stallion candidate and the owner is willing to part with them. Another 4 years would be a long time to wait.
