I had a a friend of mine who is a photgrapher come and take photos of myself and my herd of 4 horses and mule. Two of my mares will be 30 yrs old in 2012 and I wanted a nice protrait before they were gone. This is a group shot the two outside horses are my old mares Mystie on the left and Fantasy's dam Salsa on the right.  While she was here she took some extra shots of Fantasy and I    |

Thanks everyone it was great fun to do the photo shoot. I was pleased with how it turned out.
I am not wearing shoes and it was freezing cold out there though you can't tell from the photos. Looking like an ol' farm gal with a bunch of scruffy horses was for fun. On a day to day basis I never go out there with out shoes. I think I would do it again in the summer with horses in sleek summer coats and maybe get a few with me riding.

Wonderful photos! What great keepsakes these are. You all look happy and healthy, and can't tell that you are barefoot at all. She really captured you and Fantasy, amazing pictures.
