Have any of you watched the new documentary called "Buck", about Buck Brannaman? I watched it last night and it was good. Lots of background info on him. It also follows him as he does clinics all over the country. If you get a chance it is def. worth watching. Here's a link to the movie site: buckthefilm.com/

Yes, but for sure don't take a non-horsey husband with you! All he could talk about was how dangerous that stallion was.

LOL...Diane, I am sure to the non-horsey person that had to be the most shocking scene and I am glad they did not shy from it. I have only seen previews and clips, but plan to see the whole film soon. Then I am sure to have more to comment.

I saw it. It is now on DVD thru NetFlix. It is a very good documentry. It is a testament to how an exploited child rodeo star could grow up to be a very decent human being, with great sensitivity to abused and mishandled horses and people, and the power of healing when it is faced candidly and can take responsibility for themselves. The stallion is an example of how bad a being can be affected, and just how dangerous it can become. Buck is an example of resilencey and the power of his choices and his ability to love and share and change things in the present.
