Demo Riders and Horses at the Adoption

While Karen and I were at the adoption, we helped Lil, or tried to at least with her dressage demo. ;D Lil's mare, Conchetta is fabulous. I loved the story of her and Lil. Cochetta has this little lip quiver when she is concerned about something that is just too cute. Such a great mare. BTW Lil, she DOES like you, so quit thinking she doesn't. You need to move to the East Coast with Karen and me.

While there I photographed some of the other demos. Everyone did a very nice job.

It was great to meet so many people I only knew from the Internet. It was funny how you get an image in your head as to how someone looks and then you meet them and it's totally different or in some cases right on target. Made memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you Kara and Karen for helping me and taking pics! and for the kind words for Conchetta. I think she is just amazing, to come out of the wild at 12, and learn to accept all that she has. I was surprised that she seemed so calm about being back there, as I am sure she remembers those sights and smells. After 4 demos, she had that training level 3 test memorized, and she was anticipating and cutting corners I am so glad I got to take her and let people meet her!
