I had a fabulous time at the adoption, the best part finally getting to meet so many of you from the board and Kiger community that I have only communicated online with before. The dinner was a great success at Meat Hook ..thanks Dianne for putting that together.
In all the excitement of making the trip I forgot my camera can you believe it. But with my daughter's new phone we got several great pictures the challenge now is to get the over 100 pictures from her new smart phone uploaded to my computer to share. I can share the few she had posted to FB.
I did get to ride Dino'..thanks so much Lisa and Kevin ;D I even managed to catch my daughter in time for her to get a picture which I will post as soon as she sends my way via her phone.
When I arrived home my hubby was surprised I had not bid on a horse...LOL I had to explain it is not something you do on impulse there are preperations to be made before thinking of bidding. Of course he has been witness to me at art auctions and watch out I can get crazy at auctions. I also let him know I have attended 2 adoptions and come home empty handed ..not next time. Had I been bidding I of course would have snatched up that grey orphan filly. Had I not got her I would have considered that big beautiful old rose grey man. He was a gentle soul with a very kind eye.
so on to the few pics ..my daughter got this nice action shot of pen #1 3-4 yr old studs
and here is the older stallion pen
a close up on the nice rose grey, which was a favorite of my daughter she took lots of pictures of him. He is first on my list to become a part of my artwork
my daughter had another favorite the mare #1174 this mare came up to the panels sniffed and nuzzled my daughter's hand. She was absolutley darling, I am very happy she got adopted.
Anyway I can't wait to get the pics from my daughter go thru' them. There was a stud in pen #1 I really like the looks of I just don't recall his number.
I also look forward to all the great updates and pictures that everyone will share of their new Kigers ;D
