I don't know if they are done listing horses yet on the BLM site but so far I've come up with the following:
11 Weanling Boys 16 Yearling Boys 13 Two y/o Boys 3 Three y/o Boys 5 Four y/o Boys 7 Six y/o Boys 5 Seven y/o Boys 1 Eight y/o Boy 2 Nine y/o Boys 2 Ten y/o Boys 3 Eleven y/o Boys 2 Twelve y/o Boys
16 Weanling Girls 7 Yearling Girls 12 Two y/o Girls 9 Three y/o Girls 2 Four y/o Girls 1 Five y/o Girl 1 Seven y/o Girl 1 Nine y/o Girl 2 Ten y/o Girls 1 Eleven y/o Girl 1 Fifteen y/o Girl
I think I know of at least one of the mares that was turned back that is still up and I don't know if the three orphan fillies are up yet.

I noticed that the mares with weanlings are no longer up. I went to check some dams of the weanlings and they were all off.

rats...been making my own catalog (taking all the pics and info from the site as it went up) but because of my surgery haven't been diligent till today to start getting all the new Riddle horses. That's how I noticed the 2 studs and one filly gone. I must have totally missed the pairs pics...I never saw any mare and foal pairs posted. have only gotten all the pics so far still doing my mare/foal cross ref (when available) .

Actually, I think weanlings was a mistake on my part, they are the young foals and I think they are too young to be weaned yet.

Here are some more stats. Please realize the margin of error is very high due to the constant change in actual numbers and the error in color due to baby coats, etc. I think what is important is the percentages. I use my own formula to figure white marking .5 is a very small star, 1 point for every lg star, or white leg. It was easier to figure white this year with lots of pictures. The 2007 only had 1 picture and if the head was turned I could not see stars, that is why there is a 20 horse unknown for 2007. Important to note that both years show 85% Standard 3 Dun Colors, The age under 2 is 76% and 77% respectively. And the score for the amount of white 1 or less is 61% on both gathers. Hope everyone finds this fun and educational.

I believe this year's age identifier might have tried to be more specific then in 2007. I also think it is important for critics to try and see 2007 horses as well taken care of adults compared to the catalog to really understand how these horse's bodies change when mature. I am sorry I can not get this spreadsheet to load correctly. the first 2 rows are 2007 and next 2 are 2011. Actual number then what that number equals as a percentage of total horses is how it should read. Email me and I can mail you the excel file if you are interested.

yes Michelle it would be fun to match 2007 adoption pics to the horses 4 years later. and a good test for association inspectors and people learning what to look for and what turns into what.
I don't think any of us really compare the facts enough, we just say what we feel about the changes in the gathers, colors, quality, white, etc.
lilnagy my email address is horseysue@gmail.com send me note and I will email the excel spreadsheet I use, All ready set up and the codes I use so it will match 07 &11

Sue, and everybody; I am about a third done putting the 2003 horses into a format like Sue's but I am leaving now for three days. So it will be at least that long till I can finish, or if someone else wants to do and has the time, I won't be offended! Lil

Ok, here is the data I have for the 2003 adoption; I tried to set it up like Sue did for 2007 and 2011, so number, gender, color, hma, white score, and price. It is hard to know if I did the white scores just like Sue would have, so take that with a grain of salt. I did not inlcude those horses that were in the catalog, and then removed, like the ones who were listed as deceased, or returned to herd. I put an asterisk next to the horses that were part of a mare/foal pair. and I put a "p", for passed, on those that didn't get adopted. Some of those "passed" horses may have had adoptors by the end of the day but I didn't get it recorded. And lastly, I separated the Kigers from the Riddle, so you can see things like Kiger had more grey, and the brown and palomino, but Riddle had the chestnuts and sorrel. The totals are at the top, followed by the data for each HMA
