I took him to his first show he did pretty good, my inexperience showed. I did not know I was supposed to bring him back for Champion halter so he missed that class, he was only one in his class for halter. Sense the judge said I could leave I figured he didn't qualify to return He was however a fan favorite and I was asked to stop several times so people could take his picture. I was also lucky that a friend made it there in time to get a picture of me after my halter class.

my friend shared a few more pics she got with her phone we were both nervous...LOL He was looking pretty good once we got going Tomorrow is packover, which is in-hand trail wearing a pack saddle. We shall see how that goes if I can get him the trailer again. He had to ride with a horse to get there this morning and he gave the trailer a swift kick when I loaded him up to bring him home tonight.

LOL...I first read the "nervous" description and then I saw the picture. I don't think I would have recognized him in the very first picture. You guys are doing great

I get to sleep in tomorrow as Super will not be showing tomorrow. The class was a inhand trail with pack. While Super does fine wearing the pack saddle he was not about to let me put on empty soft panniers let alone ones with anything in them. After 2 hrs of practice I called it quits, he just isn't ready. There is always next year, I have learned alot from this weekend. We have lots to work on, I am glad we ventured out.

Super acts like a baby still ...sometimes hard for people to relate to the fact he is a 16 hand mule acting like a foal. He would want to rush back to the trailer and nuzzle his babysitter my old Morgan mare. Braying something awful when ever he would hear her whinny. I was however very proud of his behavoir in the arena all the practice at home paid off there. He also did not bolt away from me outside on the grounds and I parked a good 200 feet away from the arena so he had to walk a distance to and from. Past an outdoor arena where a barrel race and playday was going on. So I am very proud of my big baby boy ;D
