NEW!!! Kiger Gather 2011 and HMA video

Here is the link to a video that Rick posted on Youtube. It was shot in the spring/summer of 2010 on the Kiger HMA. The first Grulla stallion you see was captured and released this year. The video of the Kiger in the water hole is not too steady. Rick hiked around the hill next to the water hole and was suprised by "Aqua Kiger" so he had no tripod and was winded from the climb. In true Kiger fashion they left only to return and check us out. Enjoy!!

2011 gather video is coming. Rick sent video to Tara at BLM, Bob Abbey and Sue Cattoor.

Here is the link to the gather video. The quality of the footage deteriorated when we uploaded so if it disappears for a short time we are trying to fix it. In the opening shots of a stallion, mare and foal, the mare and foal are on the opposite side of the fence from the stallion. BLM located the horses before the gather and they were included.

Yay! What a treat! I can't imagine how much patience and skill it took to get such great footage. The Kiger in the waterhole was sure having a great time, must have been hot? Lovely to recognize a couple of the horses. Thanks Bobbe and Rick!
