What are the nice motels in Burns? We have a group coming out from Ohio for the adoption and would like to know the best place to stay.

Bill, we stayed at this place at the last adoption. It was brand new then and was a Comfort Inn - we are staying there again. They have great parking for trailers too. It is right on the main drag with the BLM facility on the same street. www.burnsorhotel.com/index.html |

Thanks, Michelle. We are coming out to arrive on Wednesday and pulling a 20' Eby. Hope to find 5-6 nice young ones and take them back to Ohio. Will plan to stay there. I like Comfort Inns anyway.

Yes, we do. But we already have more than most folks know. While I have only my one mare left, I have helped place over 30 of my Kigers in good hands. There are more than 20 in my Chapter of the Ohio Horsemens Council. The thing we all notice now is that when other people see them they say " That's a Kiger Mustang !" Eight years ago no one knew what one was and always asked us what we were riding. That has really changed here.

Michelle,
What is the difference between Burns and Hines. I see most of the motels are listed in Hines. Are they the same?

I believe they are just right next to eachother - the hotel I listed is on the outskirts on the way to the corrals. By outskirts, I mean like a few blocks out.

My flights are booked for Oct..! Excited...we are flying into Seattle and going to drive down and site see a few days before the adoption, so if anyone can suggest things to see or places to go, let me know! Can't wait to meet everyone finally!

I'm at the Best Western, looking forward to seeing everyone! Looks like Rio, Teanna and Donza will be visiting too as we're meeting Michelle there.
