Amazing and magnificent guy! Just love him, and what fabulous pictures Michelle! Hope you get to frame these. They really show him off. I notice that he has the Spanish in, out, in when you look at his nose from the front. Gorgeous!

Michelle, do you do AI with Charro? I would really like to talk to you about buying a breeding to him if you do...

I've done AI with Charro - we use a jump mare and collect him that way; I would not teach him to use a phantom. I am picky who he is bred to and it is more about the owner, environment and what the foal will be used for; kind of possessive about his foals! I think you would do well with a Charro baby Amanda. I got Charro when he was six and we started him under saddle. He was used for five years with my husband and myself to do demos with. At that time, we traveled and did all the big horse fairs all over the country. He does great liberty stuff, bridleless riding and the fancy stuff with ease. He's been retired since we moved to Texas but I do pull him out during Open Houses and do a liberty demo with him - always a favorite! I will probably polish him up some next summer as we will do our first Open House for our breeding program and to promote the Kigers next September. He's 15'2. Here's a picture of his first ride. He was in the arena with six other loose colts - wish I would have gotten it on film. He had stitches on his jaw, so he could not wear the halter correctly the whole week - quite interesting!

Michelle, I'm not sure which mare it would be for just yet.... But I absolutely adore him and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a foal by him. Maybe my little filly in a couple years if she matures the way I hope she will. Or maybe the 2 year old I adopted. Or I might do a breeding lease on a different mare.... So many options! Charro and Sundance were my very favorites... and now that Sundance has passed on Charro is my #1 dream stallion!

Oh yea, forgot to mention, if I do ever have a Charro baby... it will NOT ever leave my possession!
