I am going to be taking my mare and foal up to the LA Equestrian Center from August 13th and 14th for a breed exhibition at the regional Andalusian championship. The gal (through a friend) that is suppose to help me was introduced to me under the impression that I would just pay for gas. I found out yesterday that she intends on charging me a regular hauling rate. I am looking at well over $400 if not $600 at regular hauling rates from Temecula up to Burbank and back. There is no way I can afford that and there is also no way I can back out of the breed exhibition as it is already printed in the premium show book. I have to go. No question. My friend (who will be out of town) gave me her two horse trailer to use for this event. If I can find someone with a V8 truck to pull then I am in business. I have been asking friends and family and no one seems to have a truck that I can use or they are busy. Is there anyone in the Southern California area that would not mind helping me haul this two horse trailer up to Burbank and back to Temecula on August 13th and 14th???

If you contact your vet they often know people who will haul for them. Perhaps one of them could help. There is also the moving companies, they will often have pickups for rent.
