BLM Kiger photos

I was able to swing by the Burns facility on the 18th and filled 12 GB worth of memory on my camera! This is the first sneak "post." I am not home yet, so will try to post more tomorrow or the next day

Lol...I couldn't help it I want to upload so bad. I am at a little shop right now and we have about another 2 hours to go. I believe I have a very nice front shot of the stallion you just mentioned Dianne.

Thanks Sarah! I think the one in the second picture has a bigger mane, could be wrong. I hope the R on this guy's hip doesn't mean release.

Ok...here is the first batch for tonight. I have a notepad to try to ID horses as I come to other pictures that have their # showing. The scrawny sooty dun/ grulla (whatever you wanna call it lol) actually is a mare with a good size foal at side. I will include pictures of the foal below. She is the one that was laying down and has a big white star on her face. You can spy her in the first picture below. She was sprawled out in the hay at the front of the pen and her mom was at the clear back corner. I was shocked to see who her real mommy was since they were so far apart and the little filly seemed to enjoy chilling out in the middle of all the horses. The pictures are out of order. We saw all the boys last.

`Ok I've notice there is alot of white I believe from riddle? Is this unusal? It seem in the past from the last gathering there wasn't as much while. Comments please.

Wow there are definately some high quality horses in the bunch. All of the foals look pretty nice conformation wise. Toni i think your are right about more white appearing but i'm not exactly sure. Has anybody else noticed more stars and blazes in the herds lately? One more thing what does the spray painted D on the red dun mean?

here are a few photos from 2007 ..there was some white markings there as well, it does appear to be more stars on the foals this time around.
